Shift Log
In this section, we look at logging working hours within the FLOW software on the vehicle handset. The handsets installed in the vehicles are also used to receive rides, confirm rides and update dispatchers on ride progress. In addition, the FLOWmaps software and navigation are accessed on the same device. Although this system is aimed for the Driver Team to log hours, we recommend that Dispatchers and Management familiarise themselves with the functions to assist if needed.
Device Login
Fall Line Fleet vehicles are fitted with a vehicle handset. It is recommended to have the handset permanently attached to the USB power source. All drivers will receive a personalised PIN number to access the handset. Many vehicles are operated by 3 drivers: the day and night shifts and the relief driver. In this case, the handset remains in the vehicle at all times and each driver logs in at the start of shift.

Select Date
In the next step, select the clock icon and date for entering the start / end time according to the advised shift. Many Drivers will work shifts communicated directly with the Dispatchers, Line Manager or dedicated clients. Some Driver Teams will receive the shift pattern on the device, such as Motorpool.

Symptoms Notification
Before progressing to the next page, a Yes or No confirmation is required for a short list of sickness symptoms. If any of the symptoms are experienced, contact should be made with the Dispatchers / Line Manager before departing the accommodation to start shift.

Rest Day
Press green button to enter work hours or mark day as Rest Day with black sleep button.

Confirm Time
Enter the shift start time. This process will be repeated at the end of shift when logging out of device. End time is accurate and is to include any overtime worked. The times are submitted automatically when confirmed and reviewed regularly by Fall Line management.
